How much does a used excavator cost?
A used excavator does not have a list price — it has a condition price. This page explains what moves the number, why two machines of the same model differ, and what sits outside the FOB figure so you can budget the landed cost.

How much does a used excavator cost?
There is no single number, because a used machine is one unit. Price follows the class, the year, the hours and — most of all — the condition of the undercarriage, hydraulics, engine and structure.
What is the cheapest class to buy?
Broadly, the mini and compact classes cost less than the 20-30 tonne and mining classes. Use the price list for an indicative band per model, then ask for the current units.
Why do two machines of the same model differ in price?
Undercarriage wear, hydraulic condition, engine health, structure and the work the machine has done can separate two identical models by thousands of dollars. Hours alone do not decide it.
What is included in the FOB price?
The machine as described, prepared for loading. Loading and the export documents are arranged as part of the order; freight and destination charges sit outside FOB, which is why we give a CIF estimate for your port.
What extra costs should I budget for?
Freight and insurance to your port, import duty and VAT at your end, port and clearance charges, and inland transport. Ask your broker for the local figures, and compare offers on the landed total rather than freight alone.
